When you are out and about in the wonderful city of Philadelphia it can be easier than you would imagine to find yourself a free wireless hotspot. The city is one of the most net friendly places in the eastern portion of the United States.

My favorite places to head are always some of our many coffee shops. Not only can I surf the internet with my laptop, but I can relax in a very comfortable location while I sip on some very high quality java. There is no better way to spend a day in my opinion.

If coffee shops aren’t your favorite thing in the world, then it’s a good idea to check out some of Philadelphia’s many bookstores. A good number of them offer free hotspots. All of the big name book sellers do, and quite a few of the mom and pop stores offer this to their customers as well.

If you are they type of person that would rather surf while spending a day outdoors, then you may take a look at some of the parks that are near some of the larger hotel chains in the area. Many of these hotels offer free hotspots that are not password protected.
